Four Voices. One Shared Field.
At VOLTA Basel 2026
@voltaartfairs , Galerie Sechs brings together four artists whose practices are deeply rooted in lived experience, memory, and personal transformation.
Arun Khau Ny
@arun_khau_ny
Our represented artist, Arun carries a layered cultural heritage between France and Cambodia. Raised between painting and poetry, her work moves through materials like minerals, sand, and plant fibers, shaping a world where memory, healing, and ancestral echoes quietly unfold.
Marco Benedetti
@it.will.never.happen.again
Marco’s path bridges discipline and sensitivity. From martial arts in Japan to analog photography in Milan, his work is grounded in attention and presence. Each image becomes a search for emotional truth, often extending beyond photography into a tactile, mixed-media language.
Renate Fluri
@renate_fluri
Renate’s practice begins with the body, but moves far beyond it. Her work questions identity, femininity, and the structures that shape how we see and exist. What remains is a strong, reflective voice that invites us to look deeper, and sometimes to confront.
Julia Wimmerlin
@juliawimmerlinart
Julia’s journey led her from documentary photography into a more introspective, symbolic world. Shaped by displacement and recent global crises, her works explore memory, fragility, and imagination as a space of refuge and reconstruction.
Different paths, different languages, yet all connected by a shared sensitivity to what it means to be human today.
