Happy New Year, Cadets and Protectors! 2020 marks a very exciting year for the Galactic Academy! 2019 saw the addition of over 600 new cadets to our ranks, the founding of several new Campuses across the world (Malaysia, Switzerland) and multiple schools (New Jersey, South Dakota, North Belgium, West Virginia, Iowa). 2019 opened with the GA participating in the Combined Clubs exhibit and Celebration Chicago for the first time, where our Jawa traders and activities gave hundreds of kids their own part of that amazing convention. Most importantly, 2019 saw cadets all over the world getting involved in their communities, giving back and brightening the lives of those they met, all while sharing their love for Star Wars! As we look forward into the next decade, there will be many changes as we grow as an organization. The things that will never change are the most important: providing children the chance to belong to a part of the universe they love so much, and encouraging them to give back and get involved in their communities with their families. We have alot of plans for the year ahead. We started 2020 off by founding a new Campus in Taiwan, and this will be the first of many. Celebration Anaheim is right around the corner, and we have some very special merch planned to celebrate an amazing milestone. I can not wait to see what adventures all of you cadets go on this year! Happy New Year!

The world lost a great man with the passing of Peter Mayhew. His kindness touched so many lives, and there are not enough words to thank him and Angie for the good they have done for children (and adults) all over the world. He was our Honorary Headmaster, but to many he was a friend. Do you have a story to tell about Peter? A picture of him with you or your cadets? Leave them in the comments and we will be collecting them into a memorial.
