When @lina.gallei asked me if I could take pictures of the launch event for @swipz.eu , I was happy to help!
I wasn't expecting this level of energy and engagement and found myself in video mode more often than I anticipated. Taking random videos here and there I think the video shows the vibe very well! (I still took pictures of the whole evening too)

What an evening! Our 141st AustrianStartups Stammtisch was full of energy, founder insights, and great conversations. Thanks to everyone who joined and made it special! 🙌

👃 Johannes Bintinger (NOSI)
Showed how olfactory sensors can even detect lung cancer through breath — and reminded us that persistence matters, especially when rejection is part of the journey.
🌱 Birgit Mitter (Ensemo)
Gave us a glimpse into the plant microbiome and how the team at Ensemo is building a highly scalable business model around it.
⚙️ Mark Duerkop (Novasign)
Shared a key fundraising insight: too many non-operative people on the cap table can make later financing rounds much harder.
🤖 Anna Pölzl (nista.io)
Explained why communicating the value of your solution beats explaining the technical “how.”
As she put it:
“Nobody wants to know how you make the Sacher-Torte. They want to taste it.” 🍰
After the talks? Tons of community vibes, new connections, and conversations that kept going late into the evening. ✨
