What will be, will be đź’« #35mm
The other day I ran errands for this project and the gps took me on roads I haven’t used in years. A couple of days before that, and in the lead up to their anniversary, I looked up the speech I did at my best friends’ wedding. Later that same day, I went dancing with a friend I hadn’t seen in years. The next day, an IG memory of a red Renault R5 popped up.
Lots of stuff happens. And it’s complex and simple. There are things we say and things we think, and we hope somewhere between the gaps of what’s said and what’s felt, there is room for understanding. The grace that comes with being given the benefit of the doubt, the safety that lives alongside that and the responsibility to honour the connection.
I just can’t shake the feeling that there are some things that go beyond reason, but still make so much sense. I like to lean into the idea that we do what we can do, but we’re not (always) in control. And that’s the best and the worst of it, all rolled up into one.
Anyway, all of the pieces are moving, including us. And it’s all staying the same because all it’s been doing is change 💗
