Today I’m happy to share the first glimpse of my new ambient album 𝘿𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙎𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙨 in collaboration with poet Brett Maddux. You can hear our double single “hear the music / don’t panic” out everywhere now.
Last June I recorded Brett reading a bunch of his poems, sitting on my floor as summer storms rolled in and out (you can kinda hear them in the background). I then scored his poems thru layers of improvisation to play out as a seamless trance of soundscapes. It’s zen af. We’ll be releasing the first collection of these recordings on 2/22
