Little Forest Live @ EasyTape
The idea was to do a one camera, one take, handheld live set recording so as the audience you get taken on a bit of a journey as it progresses through the setlist.
It wasnât intended to be an immaculate, polished video but a more raw dynamic one.
Doing it this way kept post-production lighter, but it means the work happens upfront. Making sure lighting and everyoneâs positioning was set so that it could be filmed in a single take from one camera since I wouldnât be able to change settings mid recording.

A few scenes pulled from the short film I made for @afends about @em_niwa âs capsule collection.
The film dives into the process behind the design, and was a bit of a portrait on Em herself.
From a lot of pre-production, shooting and editing, this project was a lot of fun to put together and a step out the creative norm for me.
Grateful to have helped bring this one to life.

Being behind the camera for @em_niwa âs capsule with @afends was a special one. Sharing my friendâs story and art through this project was a real highlight.
Alongside these stills, I also created a short film that dives deeper into the collaboration.
The best part? Afends gave me the freedom to explore creatively, which was awesome, and to bring Emâs story and art to life in a way that felt true.
