UNVEILING: FACE OF HOPE SOUTH EAST This is not just a look. It is a responsibility. Standing here in Isi Agu, a fabric that carries history, pride, and authority, I am fully aware of what this moment represents. The South-eastern part of Nigeria holds a depth you don’t just see, you feel. The strength, the identity, the way culture is not just worn but lived. It is bold, it is rooted, and it demands to be carried with respect. As Face of Hope South East, I step into this role with intention. To represent with clarity, to learn with humility, and to embody a culture that means so much to so many. I carry it with pride. I carry it with purpose. And in my own way…. I have landed. 🦅 Behold, your FACE OF HOPE SOUTH EAST. I don’t think I fully understood this moment until I actually lived it. There’s a weight that comes with being entrusted with something like this. Not pressure, but awareness. Awareness of what it represents, and the people it speaks for. Stepping into this as Face of Hope South East comes with a responsibility I take seriously. To represent with respect, to keep learning, and to carry this role with intention in everything I do. This is not just about showing up. It’s about understanding what I’ve been trusted with and choosing to carry it well. Being given the opportunity to represent the South Eastern region of Nigeria is something I hold with pride, and I do not take it lightly. The journey continues... The Royal Visit Yesterday was an incredible experience as the Face of Hope 2026 court visited the team at Hawaii. Standing alongside the reigning Face of Hope/Miss International Nigeria, @_queendammy , and Face of Hope South East, @gabriellaoghosa , we had the pleasure of engaging with officials and discussing our shared vision for impact. As your 2nd Runner-Up, I am honored to represent a brand that stands for grace, excellence, and community. This journey is about more than just the crown; it’s about the people we meet and the hope we inspire along the way. Huge thanks to the @hawaiinigeria management for the warm hospitality! 🥂💖 . . . #faceofhope2026 #2ndrunnerup #missinternationalnigeria #queensisterhood #beautywithapurpose

For my finale look, that was the first time it really settled in. Not in a loud way; just quietly. This was the moment where everything met. Every rehearsal, every doubt, every time I pushed myself to do better. I could feel the weight of it all in that moment. And yes, I was still a bit nervous. But when I looked up and saw the people who showed up for me, everything shifted. The ones who came from far and wide, the ones cheering, the ones who connected with me, it calmed me. Up until then, I had been fully present in every moment, giving my best, staying in the flow of everything. But here, I allowed myself to slow down. I let myself take it in. The love, the energy, the support… and I knew this was worth it. This was where I was meant to be. It felt emotional, almost nostalgic, like I was holding the moment while still living it. And at the same time, I knew this was it. The moment where everything would be decided. Wearing this dress and standing on that stage meant more to me than just the walk. It felt like a pause right before everything changed Being called into the Top 12 right after, I’m truly grateful. To everyone who showed up for me, stood by me, and poured into me, you were the reason behind that smile, that calm, that confidence. You carried me in that moment more than you know🥹, I love you all🫶❤️ And to my Instagram family, those who were not physically there but were rooting for me, watching, supporting, believing… thank you. Thank you for being part of this journey, for seeing something in me, and for choosing to stand with me from wherever you were, I love you all so much 🥹❤️ I’m very glad I got to feel that moment fully. My cultural attire, and a culture I was deeply honoured to represent. This moment meant so much more than a performance. It was identity, history, and pride expressed through every step I took on that stage. My outfit was crafted from Akwete fabric, a heritage textile from Abia State, woven with stories, tradition, and the spirit of the people. Wearing it was not something I took lightly. It was an honour to embody a culture so rich, so intentional, and so full of meaning. Winning Face of Hope Southeast is an honour I hold deeply, and one I do not take lightly. It is a reminder that purpose, culture, and presence can exist in one moment and still be powerful, and I am committed to embodying that with grace, intention, and responsibility.🥹 To my family, my friends, and every single person who supported me, especially my Instagram family, thank you. Your love, your encouragement, and your belief in me carried me in ways words cannot fully express.❤️ And to my Abia people, thank you. For your voices, your presence, and your pride. I hope I made you proud.👑🫶 This was more than a look. It was honour, representation, and intention. My introduction outfit, and the moment I said yes to being seen. Walking onto that stage, I carried more than confidence. I carried every moment that led me here. The preparation, the doubt, the discipline, and the decision to still show up fully. From my choreography to standing at the mic and introducing myself as Gabby Echiejile, Miss Abia, every moment was a reflection of that journey. Not just performance, but intention. Not just presence, but purpose. I am deeply grateful for everyone who supported me, believed in me, and stood with me through this process. Your presence in my journey made this moment even more meaningful. This was my first step on that stage, and I took it as the woman I chose to become. This is my finale look, and it carries more than just fabric and design. It carries every decision I made to keep going, even when it was uncomfortable. Every moment I chose growth over ease. Every quiet promise I made to myself to become better. I have learned that hope is not something you wait for. It is something you step into. It begins with a decision, and it grows with consistency. This journey did not make me perfect, but it made me intentional, and that has changed everything. And now, I stand here, not just as who I was, but as who I chose to become. Last night, I stepped onto the stage in my preliminary dress, carrying a message that is very personal to me. To me, hope is a process. It begins as a dream, the quiet belief that there is more for you. It grows into trust, choosing to believe in yourself even when your circumstances say otherwise. And it becomes consistency, the decision to keep showing up, to keep building, and to keep going. That is what this dress represents. Because I have come to understand that hope is not something we wait for or search for. Hope is me.
