This weekend my girls put together this beautiful bridal shower and I just wanted to take a moment to express how grateful I am to these girls. I know it took a lot of effort and time to plan all the details and make everything look perfect, some of them had to fly here, some of them took time off work. I don’t know what I did to be so lucky that God not only blessed me with 4 amazing sisters, but he blessed me with cousins and friends that will drop anything to show up for me. He truly placed the most genuine, caring souls next to me, all so beautiful and talented in their own way. I want to especially give thanks to my sisters @michyrodriguezz @nicollevalenciab for being with me through this whole planning process and giving me advice through it all. My two maid of honors @itsashhbabe_ @20marina for showing up, planning, executing, being my ride or dies 😭 to my cousin and florist @nadia_carias @bloomeverafterevents for always doing everything to bring our vision to life, the event looked truly beautiful 🥹🥹 And to my mommy @its.mercystyle for being the queen, and raising us to be strong, supportive and detailed women, everything we touch truly turns beautiful, I know we get that from you😉 #bridalshower #bridalevent

So proud of myself for the work I’ve put in these past few months, I’m kind of excited to keep going and continuing to challenge myself. It honestly feels like it’s been forever since I felt strong, with last year being such a hard year for me health wise and having so many gut issues, going through things like that make you realize that you can have 1000 tasks but when your health is a problem nothing else matters but getting healthy. I haven’t accomplished anything crazy but just the fact that I can do things I couldn’t before, makes me feel really proud. I have to thank @lgfit_coach for all the lectures he gives me during training, I know he might think I’m not listening but he has been constantly challenging my mindset and I’ve been reflecting and becoming aware that I am keeping myself from growing not because I lack consistency or because I’m not a disciplined person, it’s because I have these limiting beliefs of myself that tell me consistency is hard for me, discipline is hard for me, following through is “hard for me.” That alone puts me in a spot where I don’t try hard enough because I am already limiting my potential before I even start. But when I do things from a different perspective, leading with curiosity not judgement, when I don’t succumb to my own limiting beliefs, I surprise myself with how much I can do. We are the stories we tell ourselves, and even though this seems like a physical journey it’s a lot more mental than we realize.
