Introducing the finalists for our inaugural undergraduate conducting competition, Pass the Baton! Following a weekend of coaching with Maestro Luke Frazier, these young conductors will take turns leading the full orchestra, all while competing for cash prizes and future professional opportunities.
Meet Gabriel Levy, a conductor, pianist, and percussionist at The Manhattan School of Music. Hear from Gabriel as he anticipates learning alongside the other finalists and invites you to attend this exciting concert!
Our inaugural Pass the Baton competition and concert will be held on April 28th at the Broward Center. Our judges’ scores and audience votes will help The Symphony select its first-ever Conducting Competition winner, who will receive a cash prize and a paid opportunity to perform in the following season. We hope you’ll join us for this exciting night and help select the inaugural Pass the Baton winner!
