For all my fellow film nerds out there, hereās a quick breeze through how Iāve been scanning and editing the thousands of @kodak negatives my old man left behind (like this portrait from the 1973 Fryeburg Fair).
Itās a pretty simple workflow Iāve cobbled together using an Epson V600 for scanning, Lightroom and Photoshop for basic clean up and edits. Will hopefully be one day hand delivering some of these negatives to @northeastphotographic for some proper TLC!
Iāll be posting more regularly over at @xoxojoe_ if you wanna see more of my dads work, and hopefully some fun lil projects to come āļø

Feeling very fortunate to have capped off @hearts_sc first regular season by tagging along to shoot their final home game last night. Itās pretty dang special to see a field I once cheered my buddies on at as a kid now being a hub of professional soccer and a source of pride for so many Mainers for generations to come š«¶

All in a fall dayā¦nearly lost the drone hundreds of feet out into the marsh (thanks for the rescue mission @pdwein ). Then found some clean little waves and trees hanging onto leaves for dear life. Then nearly lost my wallet. Then found some frogs and pumpkins with @_lydiajune at @snellfarmkitchen :)
