some gigs just hit different. with this post, i’m setting a reference point for my future self, to look back and see how much i’ve learned and evolved. since the start of this year, i’ve been letting my feelings guide me each time i open ableton’s blank page. my inspiration comes from many aspects of daily life: wind, rain, leaves, rocks, birds… everything can spark an idea. the first slide is my first attempt at ambient music. the pad was crafted from a forest walk recording, with added birdsong from an early morning. the second track explores a break from the 4/4 norm, using an off-pattern kick and a sharp, misplaced snare. it’s heavily layered, especially in the kick design, to reach the texture i was looking for. for the third one, inspiration came from a psychological film whose soundtrack felt suffocating in its intensity. though it runs at 90bpm, the slow pace aims for something heavy and hypnotic. last but not least, this one was made with my new friend gabriel during our first studio session. the train sample came naturally as he lives right by the railway, with those metallic sounds on repeat. we kept a deep 4x4 structure, fitting his rising minimal techno signature. the tracks in this post won’t be released for now: they’re part of my personal beginner’s collection. my goal is to share my first official releases in 2026. i hope you will enjoy following me on this new project <3 visuals, editing and sounds by me

okay so a few days ago, right before my departure to Italy, I went to say hi at the whole Egregore crew. played a selection of some deep swampy psyched ambianty music to make em vibe with me. trust me, only good stuff for y’all. I actually really enjoyed this set as it’s reflecting the music I currently enjoy playing the most. ofc I wasn’t dancing like crazy as I was focusing real hard to make the whole thing sound great. that’s why you should all stop what you’re doing rn and go give this, perfectly fine mix, a listen… that being said, I’d like to deeply thank Egregore for the invite as well as Nuance for the amazing (more than needed) expresso coffee. I made a nice editing for those interested in the complete tracklist, visible on the last slide of this post. ok bye! 💿 MOONCAST 09 💿 This mix by @ga.ma____ was created around Anachronism, a night organized with the AAW collective in a cinema in Toulouse, his city of birth. It marked a turning point: more than a party, it became an immersive experience, like a shared dream of sound, images, and movement. The selected tracks reflect moments of uncertainty and introspection, with breaks, ambient passages, and space to slow down. Through this project, he offers an invitation to breathe, to lose oneself for a while, and perhaps reconnect with something new.
