Soon we can hit these beautiful champagne gravel tracks in Marka again with the @mediocre_athletics_club . And other ones if the ride projects for 2026 come true…

Tried to shot with the style of Edward Hopper in mind and I will try to use it more. Should have tried more compositions with that light tho. And despite shooting film for a decade I just recently discovered the zone system for metering and I will use it as of now and curious to see if my metering will finally be good and consistent.
I stopped using white frames on IG when they allowed portrait/landscape format but the cropping factor doesn’t work with that composition and the moon would not show on the standard crop.
Slight light leak on the right of the frame but it kinda works here, other shots are ruined because I don’t know how to properly handle 120 film after exposing it🤦🏼♂️.

Back in September 2022 I did my first big post Covid trip. Original plan was Japan, but the borders just opened up with too annoying limitations. So South Korea became the back up solution and it didn’t disappoint. Unlike most of the pictures I shot on that trip. Out of focus pictures because I mostly used zone focusing and it seems like I’m bad at it, poor metering (same) and boring shots (same). But the trip was amazing.

I bought a digital camera years after I sold my Fuji, but I have to do it somehow analog. I shoot for a month without looking at the pictures and then import them into Lightroom and see what result I get.
So here is Oslo in December. It’s gray, dark or white, and it’s cold.
How did we meet over a decade ago and became friends? We like to buy too many pairs of expensive sneakers.

Oslo-Kristiansand-Bergen. 900km in 5 days on my own. First time I do such a bike trip. It had everything I expected : great landscapes, climbing, soreness, mental challenges but no mechanical issues or crashes. Im grateful for that 😄
A road bike is not the best suited bike for such a trip but it worked. Everything went according to plan, I didn’t overpack, had the proper equipment for the weather conditions I had.
What is the next trip I should look for ?
