This is such a late post, haha, but I'm so excited to share some behind the scenes from my graduation film "Monster Bash"!!
This project was so much fun, and so many amazing and talented people helped make it happen!
What started as a funny idea whilst listening to music with a friend turned into this crazy reality. A dark/horror comedy at a Halloween party. Bringing you all the funny, camp and silly vibes and, of course, a crazy amount of characters and references.
From the students at Norwich City College Makeup Department, The lovely Alex, I met at the pub who let us use her beautiful dogs, Geoff and Humphrey, UEA medical science department! And so many more you all made this possible!!

I'm super excited to have the opportunity to host a workshop alongside @queerfestnorwich and @psychicvision.s
We're going to be learning about some interesting facts about makeup history and the film industry, and then we will have a chance to design and create our own characters through makeup!

Practising a hair updo on the gorgeous Sarah (practice head), using @bblondehair products, which I was kindly gifted.
This is a recreation of the design by @makeupbyrossino we used at the Olivia Black, Serendipity Show at London Fashion Week a few months ago.
Had so much fun doing this, look at the show and wanted to give it another go!
Planning on doing more practice in the New Year, let me know if you have any suggestions for styles - I'm thinking next I'll tackle the infamous finger waves 😶

Not a quote from Frankenstein, but I recently saw The Phantom of the Opera (1925) with a live score and this quote kinda stood out to me and I think it works well with the creature too.
If you know me, you probably already know about my weird love for Frankenstein, which with the new film has been reignited. Im a big fan of Gothic, and I guess spooky things if you couldn't tell by my graduation film. I also like painting myself green every now and then lol, brings me joy.
Been feel kinda uninspired lately, but my recent adventures to the cinema and getting to go to the Frankenstein exhibition have really reignited my creative mind!
Anyway, this was quite fun! Would love to do a shoot like this with a model oneday and get even more creative!
