Sleńdzińskich w Białymstoku), the exhibition presents the remarkable photographic legacy of Bolesław Augustis — a story of memory, identity, and two homelands.

In exactly one month, people in Auckland, New Zealand, will have the opportunity to view photographs by Bolesław Augustis, who lived there for nearly 46 years. Yet beyond his closest circle, almost no one knew that he was an exceptional photographer.

We will present photographs from Białystok taken between 1935 and 1938, alongside images from a private family archive in New Zealand spanning the years 1949–1995. The project also includes a re-edition of the first book (designed by @tapir_book_design Ania Nałęcka-Milach).
