A spec ad for the Sigma 18–35. This time the focus was clearly on lighting experiments and the deliberate use of AI as a tool in the workflow mainly using Nanobanana and Kling 2.5 Turbo.
Testing new approaches is essential, only those who experiment can continue to develop and keep up with current trends.
The project was intentionally spontaneous, without a rigid concept. Lots of creative freedom, quick turnaround, and we learned a lot.

We went through the entire production process - from the initial idea to final realization, using a wide range of tools to bring this project to life.

In this edit I wanted to blur the line between AI and real footage.
First transition: fully AI → real.
I built the lens + background as still images, generated the explosion, then in Kling 2.5 Turbo had the lens reassemble with soft camera movement. The key was matching the last AI frame to the first real frame and speed-ramping into it.
Second transition: real → AI → real.
I filmed the lens on greenscreen, animated it flying out of the box in After Effects, and used AI again to morph into the next real shot.
Goal: make you forget where AI stops and reality starts.
