Dearest Young Greens,
It is with the utmost delight that this author reveals the location of our forthcoming General Assembly. Whispered across the continent and now confirmed, our gathering shall grace the charming city known variously as Bolzano, Bulsan, and Bozen.
From 28-30 May, delegates from every corner of Europe shall convene to debate, decide, and design the future of our federation. One can only imagine the spirited discussions, the bold visions, and, naturally, the most exquisite gathering of our pan-European community.
This author must also extend the warmest gratitude to our gracious hosts, the @younggreenssouthtyrol , whose hospitality promises to make this Assembly the envy of every political season.
Prepare your resolutions, polish your candidacies, and ready yourselves for an event that shall surely become the talk of every salon.
Yours in anticipation,
The Federation of Young European Greens 💚
🔥 Big announcement:
Our @vitasenad is running for the board of the European Youth Forum!
Let's bring Vita's energy and experience to the @youth_forum . Vote for Vita!
‼️ICE-style politics, mass deportations and detention camps, even for kids. This is what the European Parliament is voting on this Thursday in the deportation regulation.
Do we want a whole new Trumpian-era of politics? Or do we want dignity, human rights and community?
🔗 We urgently need to pressure the politicians who could make or break this law. Send them an email via the tool in our bio.
Once this becomes “normal”, there is no going back.
🔻
Happy Europapa day 🌟
Nobody should be deprived of the right to vote because of their age, nationality, ethnicity, the fact that they are in prison, or any other criteria.
All foreign citizens should enjoy the right to vote in their place of residence for all elections and young people in particular are systematically excluded from decision-making processes. Voting should start at 16.
🌟 Green Girls keep on winning! We are beyond excited to announce our treasure(r) @vitasenad ‘s election to the board of the @youth_forum !
We congratulate the whole new elected board and wish the next two years to be successful and bold in advocating for policies that put justice in the centre.
We cannot afford to be broke, so let’s be bold! 💚
This Thursday, England, Wales and Scotland can elect all of these superstars into their parlements and local councils 🌟
Who knew bringing back hope would make them a headline? Boots, that’s their winning boost, and their schedule hasn’t been loose for a minute. They’re young greens, they’ve been it!
All the best to all of these amazing candidates fighting for hope, joy and a better world. You’re amazing xx
Rise and shine, the wait is finally over: we present our candidates for the upcoming executive committee! 🌸
Curious about their plans for the upcoming year? You can find their full candidacies in the link in our bio!
See you in Bolzano dears 💗
As we celebrate, protest, and rest this International Workers’ Day, we honor the brave women of Brittany whose union action pushed history forward, and remind ourselves what it took to get here.
Equal rights at work are never guaranteed. They are won, defended, and fought for every single day. Without that fight, they slip away.
Demand better. Join your union.
Power to all 🖤
Counting down the days: only one more month until we go to Bolzano for our General Assembly!
In the meantime, meet the proposed presidency of our assembly. These 6 long-time FYEG-ers, if voted in, will be moderating and presiding over the amendment and voting sessions!
See you in Bolzano 💐🌟
A little recap of this training weekend in Brussels in collaboration with Greens/EFA 💚🌸
Mladi Zeleni, Grüne Jugend, Vihreät nuoret, Joves Ecosocialistes, Jong Groen, and ZOS came together to reflect on how our organisations work, how we can become more inclusive and sustainable, and how to strengthen cooperation across borders.
Throughout the weekend, participants explored internal structures, participation and workload, shared challenges and good practices, and discussed how to build stronger alliances with civil society organisations.
A big thank you to Jong Groen for helping us host the weekend in Brussels ✨

🇮🇹🇵🇹 Today the people of Portugal and Italy are flooding the streets to resist against fascism and remember that democracy is not a given.
✊ April 25th marks 52 years to the day of the Portuguese Carnation Revolution culminating in the fall of the dictatorial Estado Novo regime.
The Portuguese revolution was built on resistance. For decades, the Portuguese Communist Party led underground sabotage missions; students and workers organised political education; artists and musicians created hymns to freedom. The revolution didn’t simply happen. People made it happen.
The revolution was kickstarted by the decolonial movement in the African colonies. Portuguese people regained their freedom thanks to the liberation struggle of the African people.
🪧 April 25th also marks 81 years to the day of Italy’s liberation from Nazi and Fascist occupation.
Women, men, farmers, intellectuals, communists, liberals, catholics making up the Italian resistance movement took it in their hands to stop 20 years of Mussolini’s fascist dictatorship and 2 years of Nazi occupation.
But in 2026 the neo-fascist Meloni regime in Italy attacks freedom of speech and the independence of the judiciary.
Today more than ever we remember that democracy is not a given. It is built on resistance. It has to be fought for.
