The For Pete’s Sake lifestyle brand has always been driven by powerful musicians and innovative street fashion. My Cali upbringing and UofM schooling really allowed me to see first hand the importance Dilla brought music. He, like Steve Jobs, was an innovator merging heavy raps Motown souls and throwing in a splash of skate streetwear essentials. Always on some new next level shit!
So to see the uncanny resemblance of his younger bro @illajyancey essesentially recreating these iconic shots subconsciously with our brand @FXPXS on is just too surreal.
