Hooks with menace, kicks that wallop, and tempos that sweep you off your feet with speedster tempos. If you’ve been paying attention, there’s been a hefty shift in the demands of dancefloors. And being the world-renowned superclub that it is, Marquee Singapore is quick on the uptake. The appetite for harder, more aggressive sounds has been voracious, and Marquee has been feeding that relentlessly with its event curation.
It’s why the enormous establishment has recently brought in hard-banging behemoths like Charlotte De Witte, I Hate Models, Shlømo, and not to mention Sara Landry lined up for the year-end. But when it’s not hosting international juggernauts, Marquee wields this propensity for intensity with the acute vision of its resident DJs, which brings us to the first part of our Maestros Of Marquee series.

The alias of Jerry Wong, FVDER has been a staple in the DJ circuit and a sought-after asset behind the jogwheels. “I approach my role at Marquee with the mindset of never getting too comfortable or stuck in routine,” he adds. “For me, it’s all about constantly pushing boundaries and evolving, which aligns with Marquee’s high-energy vibe in a fresh way.”
