Happy Earth Day, ocean lovers! đđ
Today, Iâm so excited (and so grateful!) to share something close to my heart: my latest childrenâs book Ocean Superheroes is officially here for pre-order!
If youâre open to supporting, purchasing a few copies at the link in bio means theyâll be donated directly to Title I schools and 100% of proceeds support @FutureWavesHQ , helping more kids get outside, explore, and protect our planet.
Every order helps us climb the book lists, which is key to getting this message into more classrooms, homes, and hands that can carry it forward đ
Reviews are also incredibly helpful once the book arrives on June 23! They help amplify this mission even further.
Thank you for making waves with meâand for sharing if it resonates đđ
This is how change begins đą
With kids outside.
Asking questions.
Falling in love with the world around them.

Bringing my mentor @Dr.SylviaEarle âs wisdom and passion to a new generation đ
Sylvia taught me that protecting the ocean is a team sport, and we all play an important role.
That experience shaped my latest childrenâs book, Ocean Superheroes. Itâs the perfect way to teach the next generation that the ocean is filled with real superheroes, and that we each have the opportunity to put on our own capes and dive in to protect what we all love and need!
Launching June 23 for World Oceans Month. Pre-order or donate copies to Title I schools (link in bio). 100% supports @FutureWavesHQ . đ

đđ Introducing: the Future Waves Book Club đđ
Stories that spark curiosity. Build connection. And inspire kids to protect what they love.
Our very first pick is extra special đ
âAnatomy Under the Sea: The Adventures of Luna the Loggerheadâ
by 9-year-old author Emiliana Fugerâa three-time Future Wavemaker Scholar!
This joyful, rhyming adventure follows Luna the loggerhead through South Floridaâs waters, meeting incredible ocean creatures along the wayâfrom hammerhead sharks to horseshoe crabsâwhile discovering how their bodies work (and how weâre more alike than we think).
Itâs playful, science-backed, and exactly the kind of storytelling that helps kids fall in love with the ocean đ˘â¨
Read along with us, share it with a young ocean lover, and help raise a generation that knows the seaâand fights for it đđ

She saw what no one else couldâbecause she looked closer đ
Marie Tharp helped map the ocean floor and uncovered the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, even when others wanted to write off her theories.
But her work reshaped how we understand our planet and is a reminder: discovery doesnât always look like what we expect. Sometimes it looks like persistence â¨
This is Vol. 01 of Get to Know These Ocean Superheroes, a series celebrating the people who changed how we see the sea.
Save this to come back to her story and follow along for more!

The OCEAN SUPERHERO who inspired it all⌠and the book that carries it forward. đ
Sometimes meeting your real-life superheroes is even better than you could have dreamed!
Meeting @Dr.SylviaEarle changed everything for me. I first saw her at six years old on Mister Rogersâ Neighborhood, and years later, I was swimming with her in the GalĂĄpagos alongside marine iguanas, sharks, and sea lions. Sylvia taught me that protecting the ocean is a team sport, and we all play an important role.
That experience shaped Ocean Superheroes.
For the next generationâto know the ocean is filled with real superheroes, and that we each have the opportunity to put on our own capes and dive in to protect what we all love and need!
