When it rained 1 million years before that day. Bolivian salars – the largest source of Lithium, the third element in the periodic table, had been forming over 13 billion years on Earth, now powering batteries of our phones, laptops, and electric cars.
Appearing a second after the Big Bang to become a battery in my iPhone, Lithium brings me to the ontological thinking. This is where human, lithium, and capitalism belong to one coordinate system. Our brain cannot see all the interconnections in the world architecture – how our phones contain something that's been around 13 Billion years old. Neither can we witness global warming, only face scattered disasters around the planet as a consequence of technological progress.
