Had to share a couple of clips from a great gig this week at a very packed @shacklewellarms as @marla_kether played a killer live show to add to her many talents as a remixer and DJ. Infectiously funky and soulful, switching from Afro flavours into broken beat and candomblé. Superb band and first time I had seen vocalist @plumm.sass live - so good! The other video here from support @nia.sounds and her stripped back version of 'Afro Blue'. Lovely story that her Mum used to sing it when she was young so Nia always thought it was her that composed it. Loved that! So much incredible talent constantly coming through in London.
