Sometimes my life feels so surreal, like a dream. I try to capture these moments, to share and remember the feeling of the dream state. Last night, the moon was red above the smoke, ashes fell from the dark sky. This area was burned last year, but now the grasses grow taller than I've ever seen, some coming up to my elbows. A myriad of wildflowers coat the landscape in all directions. I've never seen the mountain meadows of the Rockies this lush. Here are my attempts to capture some of this abundant growth, testing different angles of lightning with white LED. Dreams in reality captured in single frames.

Object tracker made in @touchdesigner that attempts to zoom in on people/objects moving in the frame, and alters how often the zoom happens based on incoming frame rate. Camera selection, and other parameters are controlled via MIDI, live. Zoom is scaled to the blob dimensions, and (X,Y) position creating a glitchy computer vision output that was sent to VJs and an LED screen. First deployment of a TouchDesigner program I made. A few years ago, I set out on an endeavor to explore new sounds. Hybrids of Dubtechno, Gqom, Techno, Drum and Bass, and Dub. At the time it was terrifying to start a new alias after focusing on bass music for 20yrs, but I did it anyways and set my sights on a handful of inspirational labels. Hello Strange was one of the labels whose cold and spacious sound spoke to me. Out now, I am honored to be a part of their Strange Story series alongside other veteran producers such as @faserklang @r.hzdub @lotech_hijack @btgatex138 and others.
