昔ながらの技術を大切にしながら、
使う人の暮らしに寄り添う布団をつくり続けている、
本物の職人さんのお店です。
今回、僕のクラウドファンディングにも
温かいご協力をいただき、
改めて人とのご縁のありがたさを感じました。
そして今年のグランプリでは、
見事 銀賞 を受賞。
日々コツコツと積み重ねてきた技術と想いが
しっかり形になった結果やと思います。
同じ布団づくりの道を歩む者として、
刺激をもらえる存在であり、
心から尊敬している兄弟子のお一人です。

I’d like to introduce my senior fellow craftsman’s shop.
Futon koubou FUKUYA is a futon workshop on Awaji Island, where each piece is carefully handmade one by one.
While preserving traditional techniques,
they continue creating futons that truly fit into the lives of the people who use them.
It is a shop run by a genuine craftsman who values both skill and heart.
They also kindly supported my recent crowdfunding project,
which reminded me once again how meaningful human connections can be.
And at this year’s Grand Prix,
they proudly received the Silver Prize.
I believe that award reflects the years of steady dedication,
refined skill,
and sincere passion that have gone into their work.
As someone walking the same path in futon making,
they are a source of inspiration to me,
and one of the senior craftsmen I deeply respect.

care,
and detail that only handcraft can provide —
something mass production can never truly recreate —
