Sál is about to première at @nationaltaichungtheater . It’s an honor to finally share this piece with you all. The first visualizations of Sál began in 2017, shortly after the première of Dökk—but only now, eight years later, does the performance finally see the light of day. A long-awaited moment, and one of the most significant milestones in the history of our studio.
We invite you to step into this journey with us.

We’re wrapping up a very positive year for Onirica (). Since its première last year, we’ve been proud to see it become our most toured work in 2024, spanning seven countries and nine exhibitions.
Onirica () challenged many of our creative beliefs, marking a significant evolution from the aesthetic and visual language we had always explored in the past. We’re thrilled by the positive reception it has received and continues to generate. We can’t wait to see where its journey will take us in 2025.

One of this year’s most defining moments was our return to the stage with the live version of Onirica ().
After a seven-year break following the première of Dökk in 2017, we felt a natural drive towards performing arts. It has been a project born from our desire to challenge ourselves once again with this form of expression, and despite the creative challenges, living this process and seeing the end result on stage reignited our passion for this powerful medium.
Looking back, this experience perfectly encapsulates what 2024 has meant for our studio: a year of artistic growth, bold pursuits, and significant creative milestones.
Thanks to @diego_tortelli_official and @helias_salvador who shared this journey with us.
Onirica () was created in 2023, right at the beginning of what would become a widespread fascination with AI-generated imagery. Since then, the work has traveled more than almost anything else we have created. It has taken different forms depending on the context: the original installation, site-specific iterations, versions developed in collaboration with other institutions, but each one rooted in the same research and artistic intention.
At the moment, Onirica () is currently on view at the Instituto Leonés de Cultura in León (ES), as part of the group show "El Tiempo de la Interferencia" alongside works by Laurent Grasso, Jenny Holzer, Joan Fontcuberta and Abelardo Gil-Fournier. On view until June 14th.

Two weeks ago we opened our doors for our 11th Open Studio.
This practice was born in 2022 as a way of stepping outside the day-to-day of the studio. In each event, we explore themes and territories of the contemporary, while opening our doors to conversations and exchanges with professionals from art, culture, theatre, science and business.
This edition focused on curating as an extended, boundless practice: one that reaches far beyond its most obvious definition. We had the pleasure of hosting @francesca_verga from @argekunstbz and @renato_bruni from @ortobotanicoparma , who each offered their own lens on what it means to work at the edges of a discipline.
It was a meaningful afternoon and we thank everyone who joined us.
Multiverse .echo opens in two days at @espacioftef in Madrid: a new configuration of the original immersive installation, adapted to the scale and intimacy of a gallery space.
Four large screens surround the viewer with simultaneous visions of the same cosmos, while at the end of the room a series of cubes offer smaller, individual interpretations of the universe: parallel universes unfolding at the same time, each following its own path.
On view until October 11, 2026.

Last November, Luna Somnium was presented at @noorriyadhfestival in Riyadh: its first time standing fully in the open air, without a host building.
In this case, the work was projected on an 18-meter inflatable sphere. It is inspired by Kepler's Somnium, a 17th-century science-fiction tale in which the protagonist travels to the moon and, from that distance, observes the Earth differently. The work continues our long fascination with astronomy and the cosmos, but approaches it from a more narrative and emotional angle.

One year ago today, Sál came to life on the stage of the @nationaltaichungtheater . The final chapter of a trilogy that took more than 12 years to complete, and one of the most intense experiences our studio has ever been through.
Those days in Taiwan were both challenging and deeply meaningful: bringing the work to the stage in Taiwan, a place where we had already performed Ljós and Dökk, felt like closing a circle.
One year later, we carry it with us - and we can’t wait to see where Sál will go next.
Sál is a live media opera by fuse*

Multiverse .echo is landing in Madrid 🇪🇸
The work joins "Quantum Revolution" at @espacioftef : an exhibition that traces over a century of quantum physics, from the first cracks in classical mechanics to the second quantum revolution.
Originally created for "Ipotesi Metaverso" at Palazzo Cipolla in Rome in 2023, Multiverse .echo is a new iteration of Multiverse, an audiovisual installation inspired by Lee Smolin's theory of cosmological natural selection: the idea that universes, like living organisms, evolve through reproduction and variation. Generative visuals and sound make visible the invisible architecture of the cosmos. Happy to see it back after three years.
Multiverse .echo will be on view at @espacioftef in Madrid from May 7 to October 11, 2026.

Next week, Unseen Flora will be part of "Sensory Landscape", an exhibition by @elledecoritalia & conceived by @pierolissoni at Palazzo Bovara, as part of the collateral events of Milano Design Week 2026 (April 20-26).
This year's theme invites visitors to rediscover the five senses as a way to reconnect with space: moving beyond an increasingly accelerated and digital experience of the world.
Unseen Flora sits at the heart of this tension. The work uses AI to generate botanical illustrations of plant species that appear entirely plausible yet exist nowhere in nature: a continuous flow of speculative flora, accompanied by fictional botanists with fabricated biographies. While everything looks real, nothing actually is. A work that invites us to look with a more critical eye at what we accept as truth, raising awareness about emerging technologies through an experience that engages all the senses.

This weekend, Mimicry lands at @alberifestival Lab, the architecture festival dedicated to trees, taking place April 17-19 at the Villaggio Artigiano in Modena.
Hybrid species born from the crossing of plant and insect kingdoms, shaped by AI to simulate possible evolutionary trajectories on a changing planet. A fitting context for a project that reimagines coexistence between natural kingdoms considered distant, drawing on horizontal gene transfer, evolutionary mimicry and exaptation.
Mimicry is also currently on view as part of "From Flowers to Bees", a group show at @galleria_antonio_verolino in Modena, until May 8.

Luna Somnium was born in 2022 in the Gazometro in Rome: a vast industrial structure that became an integral part of the work itself. The sphere was held by the building's architecture, and for a long time this dependency on a host structure limited the work's possibilities.
For @noorriyadhfestival 2025, a self-standing structure was designed: a system that supports the sphere without the need for a building. This is a fundamental transformation of the work, since now Luna Somnium can exist in a square, a park, or any open space large enough to hold it.
