FUS Show, Edition 1: Emotions. “Integral Silence” – had this track in my playlist for over a year, waiting for the perfect moment to create with it. Finally, found a space where I could bring it to life!! Each performance was dedicated to a specific emotion, interpreted through movement. While I didn’t name the emotion, the audio before each piece gave a hint, leaving the audience to explore it in their own way 💭 This piece was part of a 2.5-month creative frame up course with my beginners. We dove into movement research, musicality, personal creation, improvisation, moodboarding. We also had fun and danced some weird choreos, duh😅Sometimes spent 1 hour just discussing things, hearing each other, but mostly explored lyrics and sensory connections, all to deepen our understanding of movement and artistic expression, and I honestly loved that the tempo of the course was slow - giving all of us time to breath✨As a guide, I shared my knowledge and context for the piece, while giving the girls freedom to choose and create their own work You’ll notice where closer to end of the piece, their parts begin - made with my editing to enhance musicality and movement, while keeping their uniqueness. “Streets” at @fus.show edition 1: Emotions❤️‍🔥 FUS Show was created last year in 2023, presented in Lisbon in June 2024 - with both my dancers and invited guest artists. Guests were guided by audio before each performance, giving them a hint of what emotion is going to be performed next. In this specific case, you’ll see the into of streets being different - with a specific audio (see below), as well as new ending, which I created on the day of the rehearsal, 1 day before the show - just had an inspiration to do so, turned out to be one of the best decisions for the final performance of the show 1. New ending, day of the show 2. New beginning, day of the show. Into is taken from “basic instinct”, which to me was a total match, but also created a story behind the performance 3. New ending & my girls being goddesses, still can’t get over that hot move @beatrizbelbut did 🔥🔥🔥 4. Rehearsal day, new ending. I’m with fresh neck hernia, dancing after a week of endless pain, hospital & pills, trying not to dance and do things “carefully” (not succeeded in terms of careful, as you can see😅) 5. My first stage creation - F.U.S. SHOW, edition 1: Emotions. I’ve been creating this show for 9 months - saying it was not easy, would be not saying enough. In the summer 2023 August, in Jurmala at home, I just realised I want to do a show - that’s it. How, when, where - didn’t matter at that time, it would be figured out in the process. I feel like the most valuable thing we can do for ourselves is LISTEN - to our heart and soul. Listen carefully, follow and act. Dreaming goes pretty well with strategy and planning, but it always goes first. The energy rises and it’s just a matter of time until it is reality. What an incredible beginning! Still feels like it was a dream come true. Was it even real? Wow. It brought so much contrast per day, you won’t believe. The most exciting thing I’ve ever done🔥Ready to move on! Grateful to every single person who supported me, every artist who was so so dedicated. Each and every of my students. All of you are what made this show what it is. Thank you for trusting my vision when i pitched ideas of each performance - i knew exactly how I see each dancer, i really wanted to bring out more and more of the beautiful talent I saw in each of you, my invited artists!! Thank you for being so delicate with what and how I wanted it to be. Thank you for putting your souls into that. I had the most amazing time bringing this into life. Our backstage energy is something I’ll remember forever.

Apresentamos a força criativa por detrás do espetáculo FUS, Anastasia Levenson @levenson.anastasia . Natural da Letónia, Anastasia mudou-se para Lisboa há quatro anos, trazendo consigo uma riqueza de talento e uma visão única que, desde então, tem enriquecido o palco da dança portuguesa. Ela é a mente pioneira por detrás da introdução e desenvolvimento do estilo de dança frame up strip em Portugal, uma forma dinâmica e expressiva que cativou tanto o público como os dançarinos. O último espetáculo de Anastasia é uma exploração profunda das emoções que todos sentimos - alegria, tristeza, amor, medo - captadas através do poderoso meio da dança. O seu objetivo não é apenas mostrar estas emoções, mas também provocar a reflexão e a discussão em torno de temas sociais importantes, como a masculinidade e a feminilidade, e desafiar tabus e clichés sobre o corpo. Baseando-se nas suas raízes ucranianas, Anastasia dedicou um segmento especial do espetáculo às mulheres afectadas pela guerra, direcionando as suas forças e resiliência através de uma performance comovente que promete ser simultaneamente pungente e poderosa.
