Thank you.
I'm at a loss for words. What a whirlwind weekend in all of the best ways.
Let me start by thanking
@about41bears for being the DIY kings and putting together an awesome show supported by
@redfan_the_band and
@agirlintheshade
So grateful and always willing to host whatever they can dream up. The crew and fans they consistently turn out are always super respectful of the space, and are the generous and passionate people local music scenes are built around. Super proud of you guys. The kids are alright.
Thanks to the crew over at
@falsechordbrewing for putting up with my crazy antics, and opening their space for me to raise money for our mountain bike trail project last Sunday. I have a new respect for the Art of pouring beer (it was hard.) The day was super successful and we raised close to $800 for the trail. 500-600 of that will rent the machinery and gas needed to complete the next phase of trail improvements, and the remainder will be put toword material costs to help the boyscouts repair or replace some of the bridges that need love.
A huge shout out to
@jonnyburritos (Mr. And Mrs. Burritos) for setting up out back and donating their tips as well to the cause. Jonny and Maria see a vision of findlays downtown that I think alot of us see. Fun, weird, original, thriving. They are one of the many doing the work to make that happen, I'm so grateful to have been sort of pulled into that effort.
And the final thanks is to the people of the downtown Findlay scene. Thanks to anyone who came out to either of these events, or any event that goes on downtown. Without people getting together to support local art and music, all of it goes away. Without people getting together and drinking beer poured by a weirdo who doesn't know what he's doing, the park won't be as nice for all of us to use. Turn out and support my shit so I can turn out and support your shit
Thank you.
