Very excited to announce that the film After Oil will be making its American debut in NYC at @bam_brooklyn on May 24th!
Endless thanks to Boima and the crew at @africasacountry for having us as an extension of their team on this powerful and poignant film about climate justice. It truly has been a special project for us to be apart of. We’re super proud with how it turned out and excited for you to see it!

I always appreciate that every month through @funlandstudios I get to help @wmsemke with graphics for their Local/Live show. Milwaukee’s local music scene means a lot to me and I realized today how many times I’ve been able to animate a cool logo or album cover, so I made a compilation! ✨
It was fun making this animation for our friends at @wmsemke and one of our favorite bands @braidofficial ! Also, it’s always a treat to animate some amazing illustration from Cathy Brautigam! Check out the Backyard BBQ tomorrow at Humboldt Park!
We LOVE editing comedy, and luckily it’s been a more frequent occurrence for us this year. The Yardiologist campaign, abundant with clever lawn care inside baseball and an uncanny spokesperson to carry the concept through, helped give levity to the world of landscape preservation. In our opinion, it’s like Jack Handey wrote lines for Tool Time hosted by Ron Swanson. Not a bad trio of references in our book. Whatever your entry point, we guarantee you’ll have fun watching. The creative team at @cramerkrasselt even went so far as to pitch merch/swag for the spots including YARDER hats and green flannel longsleeves (guaranteed not to compete with your perfect mow lines). We’re always here for a clever crossover to bring the work out of a digital space. Enjoy!

WARNING: you might need to keep a box of tissue in close proximity. For all our years editing in the commercial video realm, we have never made a healthcare spot quite as unique or as heartfelt as this one. The idea and production were so compelling that we were able to convince the client to turn a :30 into a :60. It makes sense: the very simple yet potent sentiment carried through so eloquently by the team in front of and behind the camera made our job as editors way easier and more fun to assemble. One of those ideal “which take should we run with” scenarios. We’re thrilled with the final spot and hope you are, too!
