Wo dieser Rahmen bewusst gedehnt oder radikal durchbrochen wird, öffnen sich neue Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten. POET62, FLASH, RASE, CHY, BAS2 und KHAN zeigen in der Ausstellung ihre jeweils eigenen Techniken und künstlerischen Statements. So lädt die Ausstellung zwischen Struktur und und individueller Entfaltung, Wiederholung und Variation dazu ein, den Dialog zwischen System und Autonomie, Norm und Interpretation neu zu verhandeln. “This work marks the beginning of my artistic transformation — the prototype of an ongoing process in which letters and installation enter into dialogue. It was presented in 2024 at the Pop-Up Galerie Lichtenberg in Berlin, in cooperation with the Berlin Senate. Within it, a moment of transition becomes condensed: an experimental stage between my origins in writing and my artistic development, where intuition and reflection on our culture — and its often dogmatic rules, within which I was raised — encounter one another. Last chance to see my latest works at @hallenkunst ! The exhibition runs until October 12. I'm presenting an installation consisting of two pieces that clearly reflect my current stylistic transformation. In contrast to my earlier works on the wall, which were strongly influenced by the classic New York 80-90ies Graffiti style, this new work is more abstract and multi-layered. Clean lines and graphic structures give my letterforms a futuristic and elegant aesthetic. Combined with the unique architecture of Hallenkunst and the works of the other exhibiting artists around me like @cantwo , @video.sckre , @hera_herakut , the installation feels like an object "from outer space." The mask featuring the CHY lettering was originally created for a photo shoot as part of a collaborative project with a photographer. The wall installation also features my three letters CHY. While originally developed in 2024 for the Pop-up Galerie Lichtenberg, it has been completely reworked and further developed for Hallenkunst. MIXED MEDIA CANVAS 200CM X 150CM. This contemporary art installation consists of the interplay of my personal idea of mirror design and the central canvas motif. The canvas is a mix of different techniques, where my preference for camouflage design merges with traditional shapes like triangle, circle and square in the prism and in the foreground my clear idea of letter design in the classic graffiti silver look are combined. The use of brush, marker, spray can and tape reflects the range of today’s way of working in our culture.
