Since the early Perspective Music Festival days, Name has been a staple in our region, a project that’s left a lasting mark on the scene. Known for their forward-thinking, hip-hop infused left-field bass and unforgettable performances, they’ve been blowing minds for years.
Bringing them back this year means a lot to us. It feels like a full-circle moment. reconnecting the energy, the people, and the sound that built this community in the first place.

Cristiaan Broderick, the sonic architect known as @ryns_music is currently based out of Denver, Colorado. His
diverse sonic palette is best recognized by gripping melodies, and driving rhythms that thrive both on the
dance floor and in everyday life. His project has earned acclaim and support from industry titans like
Liquid Stranger, Clozee, Mersiv, Wreckno, Maddy O’Neal, and more.
Music has been a part of his life from childhood, picking up instruments at the age of seven, he found his
way to writing songs through early youth. Starting as a songwriter and guitarist of several bands
eventually led him to music production and the opportunity to take full creative control of his sound.
The RYNS project formed in 2018. His style is self-described as melodic freeform bass, but is not
confined to any particular genre. RYNS seamlessly navigates the realms of genres including but not
limited to dubstep, garage, house, and trap. Each song offers something different, an opportunity for
escapism, or an opportunity to tune into yourself. Follow on socials to keep an eye on the project through 2026

Hailing all the way from Buffalo, NY, @volumeunitmusic has been carving out serious momentum in the bass scene with a sound that blends dubstep, trap, drum & bass, and left-field bass music. His presence will be a true treat out in the containment zone.
With roots as a drummer starting at 5 years old and a deep understanding of rhythm, this leads his sets to be super tight and absolutely loaded with energy and precision.
He’s already earned support from heavy hitters like Excision, Subtronics, and Luzcid, and has shared stages with names like Peekaboo, Dirt Monkey, and Super Future.
The first night sets the pace for everything that follows and we’re starting strong with Volume Unit as our first headliner. Catch him on the Funktionanilty Presents Stage Friday Night at 11pm! Let’s show him an amazing time and how Montana gets down.
