What is Diamond Rain you ask? Well on distant worlds like Neptune and Uranus, storms rage with such insane pressure and heat that carbon atoms are crushed into glittering diamonds, raining down through the atmosphere like cosmic treasure. Imagine entire skies shimmering with falling gems, each drop born from the chaos of alien storms — a hypnotic, otherworldly phenomenon where the heavens literally rain diamonds. ✨💎
✨ A big thank you to everyone who joined us at Funkazba this year — it was cosmic to say the least! Big love to our incredible DJs who brought the vibes, and to our workshop facilitators who grounded us beautifully.
To our wonderful neighbours Koasis and TBC, we appreciate everything you do for us and the magic you weave into the community! Thank you to the rangers, medics and consent crew for keeping us and our visitors safe. Big shout out to DPW for helping us with pickets and lifting the heavy things back into our sea container when he had no energy left to give.
We truly appreciate each and every one of you. Your presence, enthusiasm, and the conversations our team had with you out on the playa/ on safety shifts bring us so much joy. However we must say, the amount of rubbish & moop our crew had to deal with this year was upsetting to say the least. Leave No Trace wherever you gather.
We can’t wait to wiggle on the dance floor with you sooner than you think! 😉
