This is just a small glimpse, but a lot of work goes into making cosplay wigs, which is why Ryu’s quotes, and all wigs I do, are considered “expensive”. Happy First Anniversary to @expedition33official 🌹 I think we can all agree that this game has changed all of our lives. For me, it contributed to my life changing surgery back in June 2025, just a few months after release. Endometriosis is a chronic and VERY complex disease. And if left untreated (surgery) it can spread to your entire organ system and cause life threatening complications. I got surgery to remove not one, not two…. Not even five or six but MULTIPLE cysts and lesions ranging in all sorts of sizes, the biggest ones being compared to an apple. I even almost lost my ovaries in the process. Even though I don’t want children, your ovaries are still very important for hormonal reasons being as young as I am. The recovery process was a nightmare. I could barely walk, shower, or even use the bathroom on my own. I was mostly bedridden for the first two weeks. And even when I could walk on my own I still needed a lot of help. In total, it took two months to fully recover. But during this time while I was stuck in bed recovering, that’s when I started playing Expedition 33. It made the recovery process much easier for me, made me forget the reality I was in for a bit and it really helped my mental state during all of it SOSOSO much!!! What really sold me to play it was finding out some favorite VAs from another favorite game (BG3) were in it like @jenniferjenglish @devorawilde @_alionabaranova I am yapping so much but long story short this game and everyone involved easily became apart of a life changing experience for me, and will always have a special place in my heart.
