First shakedown at the "new" Mission, with the new wheel/tire setup.
PB 1:14.47 for this session.
Track felt good even though temp wasn't ideal. It is definitely a bit more enjoyable!
But the 295/265 setup....man. I will never go back to running square setup on this car for track. What a difference! So much improvement all around. Putting down power, braking, turning in. Keep in mind these RT660 are 3 years old. These are the same tires I ran on the TSX a couple of years ago!
The Remus full exhaust makes a big difference too, now I can actually hear my car..and so can all of Mission's residents probably 🙈
Oil temp was steady, even after 15 push laps. It was a cool night so that was the least of my worries, considering the car didn't even overheat on a 32⁰ day last year. @aesauto tune has never failed me. Ever.
Having the bucket seat also helps, I no longer have to hold on to the steering wheel during cornering lol!
I'll be back here in a few weeks, but next up: VIMC!
