Looking back at 2024, i remember one gigantic life altering moment: getting married to Noah. That day was highly spiritual to me and I felt an extreme connection with my life’s fate. I remember walking down the aisle as if i was floating above myself. It was honestly shocking to see everyone’s familiar faces all together in one place as they turned around to stand for the bride (which somehow was me!). That really stunned me and made me incredibly emotional, i love you all so much—and to feel your love beamed directly at me was powerful and so sweet and endearing that it was almost painful. Seeing Noah in his suit and hearing him deliver his beautiful, perfect, poetic vows is my sweet little memory that i will keep tightly in my heart. I loved that he looked like a cake topper too. Everyone made our night so amazing, i cannot express how thankful i am for it all. Thank you Father Time for the year 2024, and for the gifts brought to me with it. Eternal gratitude for my husband, my family and my friends, i love you all deeply and sincerely!!!!!!!!!! 💕
9 years ago me and my new boyfriend, Noah, went on a road trip because he had to go to the Chinese embassy in San Francisco. I had never taken time off of work before and i had also never been across state lines with anyone besides my family. I was amazed at his ability to make a mundane errand into one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I was freshly 23 but I still had no idea how to drive so Noah drove the entire time and told me his life story. Instead of turning back to Portland after getting a Chinese travel visa we kept going south, stopping in Death Valley and then making a hard right turn straight to Vegas. I hadn’t counted the days right and realized that we had an extra one about halfway into the trip. “yolo” (it was 2015) While I was upstairs watching hotel TV, Noah went to the lobby and bought a bottle of cologne, a pack of menthols, a cheap fucked up looking halter dress for me, and two airbrushed hats with our names on them. I laughed so hard that night. Vegas was hilarious and Noah was perfect.
9 years later I returned with 10 of my best friends to celebrate marrying him. It felt a lot like the first time, hilarious and perfect. Both times I felt deeply loved and understood. There is nothing better to me than scream laughing and running around a place that feels like Disneyland for alcoholics. I loved smoking inside. I loved getting a balloon animal at rainforest cafe. I loved being pulled onstage at blue man group. I loved packing into a hotel bathroom and fighting for a piece of the mirror to curl our hair. I loved having all my friends in the same place at the same time. I loved looking at my friends beautiful faces while they laughed really hard. I loved putting on temporary tramp stamps. I loved being lifted into the air by strong man scam artists on the strip. I loved losing all my money at the roulette table after betting everything on my wedding date. I loved being in Paris, heaven, hell, and Las Vegas all at once. I loved it all.

In the last year I have jumped from brand side (billboard) to product side (t-shirt). I bought a house. I adopted a cat. I hung out with Noah. I wore lots of fun outfits to nike world headquarters (also lots of bad ones). I traveled around oregon, and also went to LA and NY to say hi to each ocean. I made a few doodles for my friends. I made other things too, but then locked them in a box called an NDA and swallowed the key. I taught a term at PSU. I dyed my hair and then cut it all off. I looked travis Scott in the eyes right as the queen of England died. I saw a few plays and went to a few more museums. I told myself to finish my art projects and then got distracted so I didn’t. I cooked a lot and I drank many many many gin martinis.
I’m *~stepping~* into a new permanent, full-time, bighead, job at @jumpman23 with the 365 editorial team. I’m super excited about this new job. It will be my first non-contract role ever. Being contract was super helpful to the beginning of my career, it gave me flexibility to try out a variety of situations— commercial design is not monolithic! I feel super thankful for my path so far, and I also feel very ready to settle in for a little while.
The interview process for the full time gigs at Nike is pretty intense! Im very proud of myself for making it through those hoops.
