Esta semana estuvimos en ILGA LAC 2026 (
@ilga_lac ) junto a activistas y organizaciones de toda la región defendiendo nuestras comunidades frente al avance antiderechos. 🏳️🌈✊🏽🏳️⚧️
1️⃣ Compartimos un espacio de diálogo con organizaciones de Brasil, Cuba, Bolivia, El Salvador y Argentina sobre discursos de odio, el uso político de nuestras identidades y el impacto que esto tiene sobre nuestras vidas y democracias. Un recordatorio de que ninguna lucha se sostiene en soledad y que construir comunidad también es resistir.
2️⃣ y 3️⃣ Eugenia López Uribe (
@eugenia_ippf ), directora regional de IPPF ACRO, participó en un panel sobre cómo fortalecer alianzas frente a agendas antiderechos junto a activistas y personas defensoras de derechos humanos.
4️⃣ Y también tomamos las calles junto a la comunidad #LGBTIQ que participó en #ILGA LAC en una marcha llena de orgullo y resiliencia colectiva.
En un contexto donde intentan aislarnos, borrarnos y enfrentarnos entre nosotres, construir comunidad es también una apuesta política. Porque frente al odio, aquí estamos: cuidándonos, organizándonos y resistiendo juntes.

This week we were at ILGA LAC 2026 alongside activists and organizations from across the region defending our communities in the face of growing anti-rights movements. 🏳️🌈✊🏽🏳️⚧️
1️⃣ We shared a dialogue space with organizations from Brazil, Cuba, Bolivia, El Salvador, and Argentina on hate speech, the political use of our identities, and the impact this has on our lives and democracies. A reminder that no struggle survives in isolation and that building community is also a form of resistance.
2️⃣ and 3️⃣ Eugenia López Uribe (
@eugenia_ippf ), Regional Director of IPPF ACRO, joined activists and human rights defenders in a panel on how to strengthen alliances against anti-rights agendas.
4️⃣ We also took to the streets alongside the LGBTIQ+ community participating in ILGA LAC in a march full of pride and collective resistance.
At a time when they try to isolate us, erase us, and turn us against one another, building community is also a political act. In the face of hate, here we are: caring for one another, organizing, and resisting together.
