Going live at 6 with 2 hours of sunshine jungle in honour of the first hint of good weather weāve had this year!
The sun has finally made a tentative debut and itās stopped raining in Bristol for the first time in months, so naturally Iām feeling whimsical.
Thoughts have turned to the summer ahead, and the sunshine and soundsystems in store.
Never mind the fact that itās still proper nippy in the shade, Iāve pulled out a stack of records with a decent amount of wifey riddims, rare groove samples and ragga flavours ā tune in for some freestyle selection and to see where we go with it.

Trying something a bit different today.. lining up a bunch of OG grime instrumentals alongside Baltimore club classics, with a good helping of UK funky and maybe a little sprinkling of Angolan kuduro to boot.
I think itās gonna work? Itās either gonna be neck-breakingly bouncy and Iām a genius, or a literal car crash on live radio.

Almost 4 months in and still not totally comfortable being a drive-time breakfast dude, but defo feel like Iām finding my styleā¦ also surprised how deep my record collection is - thought Iād start drawing for digital tunes by now but so far itās all vinyl, all the time, which makes each show a bit more personal I think.
