I didn’t want this to feel loud.
When I was styling this, I kept thinking about presence.
About how some men don’t have to say much you just feel it.
I wanted to show Black men in a way that felt grounded. Educated. Composed. Safe in themselves.
Not performing.
Not proving.
Just existing in their refinement.
There’s something powerful about restraint. About structure that isn’t stiff. About softness that isn’t weak.
This is what that looks like to me.
