YC first painted me in 2022. Over the years, he painted me many times and placed me in various places, including MRT stations and overseas. He painted me often grumpy but at rare times, smiling. And since he has never given me a name, everyone just calls me “grumpy cat”. Anyway, I am happy at all times!
This is YC’s 4th solo show, but it’s the most different. He says it’s “goofy” (like my personality?) and hopes everyone will join me and have fun.
Thanks to Fullerton Hotel for the partnership in hosting me. We all hope to see you there!

Driven by a curious desire to experience a world beyond his own, Chef Jun was drawn to Australia in 2008. Its vast landscapes, relaxed lifestyle, and extraordinary cultural diversity eventually led him to call it home 🐨

"What is Mulligatawny?" 🤔
A question we often hear from guests at Town Restaurant and The Courtyard.
Not a curry, not quite a soup, this dish traces its origins to late-18th-century South India during the British colonial era.
To suit the British custom of serving a soup course before the main course, Indian cooks adapted rasam, a peppery South Indian broth, into a heartier, meat-based dish 🍛
The recipe travelled to Britain with returning officials, where it quickly gained popularity in homes and pubs alike.
Its distinctive name is believed to stem from the British mispronunciation of the the Tamil words "milagu” (pepper) and “tanni” (water).
Our signature version features tender poached chicken on a bed of jasmine rice, spiced with coriander, fennel, cilantro, and mustard oil.
