ARTIST TALK | Elefteria Vlavianos and Todd Fuller
Join us this Saturday, 2 May, from 2–4pm for an afternoon in conversation with exhibiting artists Elefteria Vlavianos and Todd Fuller as they discuss the ideas, processes and personal narratives behind their current solo exhibitions.
In 'The Feeling of Memory', Elefteria Vlavianos explores the fragile inheritance of post-memory, the ways stories, rituals and histories are carried across generations and embedded within intimate objects, material surfaces and acts of remembering.
Presented in the Annexe, 'Simple Love' sees Todd Fuller unveil a deeply tender hand-drawn animation centred on Northern Beaches local Adam George; a meditation on queer identity, masculinity, companionship and the many forms love can take.
This is a rare opportunity to hear directly from both artists as they unpack two distinct yet deeply human bodies of work concerned with memory, visibility, connection and renewal.

UPCOMING EXHIBITION | Todd Fuller ‘Simple Love’
M Contemporary presents new works by Todd Fuller, opening this May.
Simple Love is a hand-drawn animation centred on the life of Northern Beaches local Adam George; a surfer, boxer, actor, musician and dancer whose story moves fluidly between masculinity and queerness.
Narrated by Adam, the work reflects on love in its many forms, romantic, familial, ritual and place. Set across Palm Beach, Whale Beach and Turrimetta, it unfolds as both a personal portrait and a broader meditation on connection.
Working frame by frame, Fuller constructs a layered visual language that brings attention to lived experience and visibility. The result is a work that feels both specific and universal, a contemporary portrait of love, stripped back to its essence.
Join the priority list for early access to the works before the public release.
Send us a DM with your full name and email address to register.
Artist Talk: Friday 2 May 2pm – 4pm

Every couple of Wednesdays, I keep a small ritual. I go to the Art Gallery of New South Wales, choose an artwork, and draw. It’s practice, quiet time, research, and a kind of meditation. These doodles might seem modest, but they have a way of resurfacing, feeding into my studio work and finding their way into my animations.
With this in mind, I’m delighted to be working with AGNSW Members to present a new workshop. Across five weeks, we’ll draw directly from the collection, using its stories, characters, and compositions as a starting point. In the final week, we’ll translate these studies into our own animations.
There are only a few places left, so if you’re keen to draw, look closely, and animate the wonders of the AGNSW with me, be sure to book in. Link is in my bio.
