Tonight at the Museum
ABC TV’s new entertainment series Tonight At The Museum premieres TONIGHT Wednesday 4th March at 8.00pm on ABC TV and ABC iview.
Filmed at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, the eight-part series is hosted by Alex Lee and features four celebrity guests. Each episode, features great discussion & competing in games inspired by real objects from the museum’s collection.
We’re especially excited because the stunning backdrop artwork was designed by Valerie Sparks and printed by us. The set, beautifully constructed by Soda Projects, is truly something special — and seeing it come to life from the studio audience was incredibly rewarding.
If you would like to see Valeries artwork up close, TMAG will have some items on display in cabinets after each episode, which also feature Valeries art work.
Congratulations, Valerie — we can’t wait to see where this leads next. We’ll be popcorn ready! 🍿
It’s with great sadness that we reflect on the news that Jon Kudelka died on Sunday. We have all admired his wit, skill, style & perspective, for decades through his cartoons.
Jon has been a customer of Full Gamut for many years - buying inks & paper to print & sell his artworks in the Kudelka shop in Salamanca.
More recently we have had the privilege of working with him on the reproduction of his larger artworks of printmaking, pyrography, drawing and painting.. They have been used in his beloved Calendar (all our staff have one at home) and for large scale display prints. Jon joined our Full Gamut gallery in 2025 to further showcase his love of the Tasmanian environment.
Sending our thoughts and support to Maggie & the whole Kudelka family from the Full Gamut team.
From here we celebrate the brilliance of Jon Kudelka & remember him always, through the gift of his Art.
Film Dev & Scan drop off at Full Gamut!
From Monday 2nd Feb, Full Gamut will be managing the film development drop off & partnering with a new lab for the processing & scanning.
Unfortunately Hobart Film Co, has had their machine break down & it is unable to be repaired. We have decided to continue providing this service as it aligns with our photographic background, photo printing & sale of 35mm/120 film.
The Fine print!
- approx. 1 week turn around service for colour film
- approx. 10 -15 + days turn around for BW film, as it’s hand processed
- This is a develop & scan process - no prints are provided
- You will be sent a link to download your files, via email
- Regular dev & scan - 3200 x 2130px - choose for using on social media, making regular 6x4" sized prints or if you aren’t planning to make any further edits to the file.(you can print up to 20x30cm)
-Hi -Res Tiff Scan - 6700 x 4460px - choose if likely to make additional edits or wanting to print larger images.
-Developed negatives will be held at Full Gamut for a max. of 60days, then disposed of.
-Push / Pull service is not available
This is a referral service, managed by Full Gamut. Films are not processed on site. Full Gamut are partnered with a Victorian lab, who we have chosen based on their strict machine maintenance routine & daily chemical control strip testing. The rolls of film will be express posted to the lab each Monday afternoon - with tracking.
