I’m honored to share that I’m 1 of 27 to have been accepted into the 2026 Chicago cohort of the Change Collective by Civic Nation.
As the Founder at @gardengrownsocial and an award winning strategist who has worked across some of advertising’s largest platforms and cultural moments, I operate within an ecosystem that stretches from the Head of Social and brand executives to community managers, freelance creators, event curators, and the audiences who ultimately carry these narratives into everyday life. I have seen how campaign budgets are approved, how messaging is shaped inside agencies, how platforms incentivize behaviors, and how those decisions ripple outward into timelines and IRL communities.
There is often a disconnect between the suites and the streets - where strategy lies. Between who holds power in the ecosystem and who feels its effects.
My work has always been about bridging that gap (s/o @4asmaip ).
This fellowship gives me the opportunity to deepen that bridge. To think more critically about the responsibility that comes with shaping culture at scale. To explore how digital strategy intersects with power. To expand Garden Grown’s ecosystem built on content, community, and culture in ways that allow us to serve, connect, and educate with greater clarity and intention.
This is about being social in every sense. Not just online, but in society. 🍊
