New radio work++ Link in bio Love to @ptp.vision + community radio Mind is still melded that I had the honor to welcome onto Panoramic @seethelieutenant -- a collaborative offering, or Operation. From the Lieutenant: Operation (L) is the Research-Based Antidisciplinary Studio Practice of Lindsee “The Lieutenant,” a self-identified polymath. Operation (L) works in and around music & sonic practice to create multimodal cultural productions that are counterindustrial and pedagogical in nature. (F)ugitive Practice is an output of The Lieutenant’s Thesis work, an exploration of Rap’s fundamental elements and Black music as philosophy. The name is a reference, but more importantly both a rejection of perfectionism and an embrace of the improvisational & the subsequent process of post-rationalization. (F)ugitive Practice kicks off on this episode, with underground Rap and slightly genre-bending tracks and remixes, and a freestyle set from See The Lieutenant in the spirit of tradition. ------ I open and close as per usual, some of the closing set is taken from a set started in NYC, spring 2022.
