I got to deliver the same line twice in Transformers: War for Cybertron - Kingdom, with VERY different intents.
Astronomical-narcissist STARSCREAM finally learns humility btwn these two clips, and how sometimes the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few…or the one (an astral interaction with the planet-eating UNICRON helping to that end, “I can still hear him, you know…”)
The journey that the writers took the ol’ G1 Air Commander on throughout the series, all the depth and nuance they imbued in this typically scenery-chewing 80s baddie literally brought me to tears when reading those scripts for the first time. His “spark” remains in tact, but grows in ways both relatable and so very understandable.
So very human.
Writers are wizards.
And more…MUCH more, than meets the eye.

Now to hunker down and heal up! Thankfully what I do for a living does not require jumping, dancing or strolling along down a… what’s that word again? So likely making use of studio ramps by next week. Otherwise will be a less than social so-call butterfly and staying home for the most part. Sorry for any shindigs missed. But this fall, let’s all climb a mountain together🖤
