After a tough series of qualification matches, Team 15534 VERTEX placed as the 8th alliance captain in the Goodall field and achieved the top 35th OPR out of almost 9,000 teams in the world. Huge thanks to our alliance partners — @overture7421 and @goldendragons772 — it was an honor competing alongside you both.
We’re also incredibly excited to have received the Goodall RTX Innovate Award for our work on the SRShub, a highly optimized sensor bulk-reading device used by nearly 100 teams across the globe 🌎. We are grateful for every teammate, mentor, and supporter who made this season possible. See you next year for 2027 FIRST BIOBUZZ!

For the third consecutive year, VERTEX is going to the world championship in April. We won Inspire 1st and were the Winning Alliance Captain at the New Hampshire State Championship. We also achieved the #19 world OPR and multiple New England records. We want to thank our alliance partner @tesseract.ftc , FIRST NH, and our school, @phillipsexeter .

We had a great time this year at Worlds 2024. After facing lots of technical issues on day 1, the team battled back and had a 6 winstreak to place 11th in the Edison division. We were selected by @ftc9879 and @ftc14496roboctopi , where we unfortunately were eliminated in the division semifinals. Thank you to our amazing alliance partners, we learned a lot from getting to work with you! Hopefully we will see everybody at worlds next year.
We are proud to present our 2024 Worlds robot: Melkor
Melkor features a small 12x15 drivebase with a 10.5:1 motor ratio, dropdown intake for reliable 2+5 or 2+6 autonomous, finger scorer with wrist, and passive climb. We are very excited to compete with our new robot in the Edison division. See you all in Houston on Tuesday!
We are headed to the World Championships again! After a perfect 26-0-0 season, we unfortunately lost our last two finals matches. Although we finished Finalist Alliance Captain, we won the Inspire Award and Promote Award! See you in Houston in April.
Thank you to our alliance members Stingers and Team Tesseract, as well as NH FIRST. It has been so much fun competing in NH this season and we are looking forward to next year!
