🎬 What a year it has been for the documentary film, Guardians of Yellowstone: The Yellowstone Cougar Project, and for wildlife research and conservation in Yellowstone! Drawing from data from well over a hundred remote cameras and interviews with park biologists past and present, the film tells the story of the elusive cougar population in Yellowstone and the tireless efforts of those who continue to study them through the Yellowstone Cougar Project.
🎬 The film was produced by the
@fstopfoundation in partnership with Yellowstone Forever. Along with numerous awards at film festivals, Guardians of Yellowstone had screenings at locations across the region, including Cody and Jackson, Wyoming, and Big Sky, Livingston, Gardiner, and Bozeman in Montana. Thank you to the filmmakers, the biologists and field technicians featured, venues, and audience members who came out to experience and support the film.
➡️➡️ Exciting News! For those of you who were not able to attend, Guardians of Yellowstone is now available to stream in its entirety on PBS through the link in our profile.
