The swap and photoshoot were such a success and it was amazing to see all your faces and all the clothes you were able to bring. We donated tons of bags of clothes to our friends @ricracknola and @santosha.village • If you missed the event, but still want to support us for GiveNOLA you have a few chances! We have a figure drawing workshop tonight at our studio @lapinsworkshop ! We are raffling off some totes and hanging out. We are also leading in fourth place in unique donations for a small nonprofit. If we place, fstop504 gets extra money to help sustain our programming. All we ask for is $10! Link in bio. Are you a filmmaker? Editor? Actor? Musician? Artist? Animator? Photographer? Writer? Set designer?Something else?! Join @lapinsworkshop and @fstop504 for our weekly filmmaking night. Lapin’s Community Filmmaking is open to anyone interested in cross-disciplinary work in film/art/music/animation/etc. Tonight, we are discussing an animated short we want to create and future projects. We have different ideas for how to make this film, which could incorporate actual video & b-roll with hand-drawn animation over it, rotoscoping, or stop-motion! This is only week 2, so if you have ideas for films you want to create with the community, come hang out and talk about it! If you aren’t interested in animation, but want to just come meet people in film and art, join us. We have snacks and friends! Wednesdays will be brainstorming sessions and actual filming/working days. The studio can also be used on other days as needed for film projects. 7 pm - 1023 Clouet - Every Wednesday

We are so excited to announce our first photoshoot of 2026 at @1234decatur ⭐️ The theme is maximalism! Go all out, layer funky patterns, rummage through your closet and think outside the box. The photoshoot runs from 2-5pm! Be sure to tag a friend you want to see there! 💫 • @1234decatur will be hosting an event all day to raise money for a new ac. Food, music, and clothes are for sale from noon to midnight. • New to @fstop504 ? We are a nonprofit organization that hosts community photoshoots that are collaborative and meant to help creatives meet new people and build their portfolio. This photoshoot is free and open to the public.
