Since FSC has helped guide the way through some really strong standards around biodiversity, we’ve really taken the falcon on as our talisman. The falcon, being the top of the food chain, needs food to survive — and there’s plenty of food for it.
FSC is really important to us because it proves — whether it’s someone purchasing our logs or a customer in a shop further down the value chain — that the wood comes from a responsibly managed forest, which is what we strive to be. It’s great that we can tell that story through the label.”

This year’s event was particularly special as HVP Plantations, Australia’s first-ever FSC-certified forestry organisation, celebrated 20 years of FSC certification. The day highlighted critical forestry practices like fire management, native forest care, and sustainable plantation thinning—ensuring that forests remain healthy for generations to come.
