I’m sorry that you tried so desperately to fix others, when your own hands were shaking. I’m sorry that I let you seal the wounds of everyone else while your own were bleeding. I’m sorry that I silenced your pain in order to ensure those around you didn’t have to worry. I’m sorry that you allowed those with evil hearts to pull pieces from yours. But through all the darkness you’ve endured, I want to thank you. For continuing to find the strength to be the light others need. For not allowing the darkness in this world to turn you cold. For healing through the hurt. For having grace and kindness in cruel situations. That against all odds, you made it - that you’ll always find a way. I’m proud of you.

My greatest contribution to this world will always be my children. Motherhood has shaped me in ways I never imagined. There is no greater gift than being their mother.
Through motherhood I’ve realized how much my own mother did for me and my siblings growing up. The sacrifices she made, the magic she created. None of it went unnoticed mom. Thank you for making my childhood magical and beautiful, thank you for being a constant inspiration in my life. Thank you for picking up every phone call, getting on planes at the last minute to be there for me, and thank you for your unconditional love.

#Ford_Ambassador Don’t wait for someone to go with, you’re capable of doing it alone. This is something I wish I learned and felt confident doing when I was younger. I used to be afraid to do things alone, but now it’s become one of my favorite ways to fill my cup. There’s great peace in solitude. 🏔️
