The sounds of KORA breakfast service. Our Sausage, Egg & Cheese is built on a house brioche bun with a “longorizo” pork patty inspired by sweet Filipino sausage and spiced Mexican chorizo, layered with spicy tamarind cashew sarsa, melty chihuahua cheese, calamansi aioli, soft scrambled eggs, and pickled jalapeños. Available weekends at our Sunnyside storefront until 2PM.

We’ve been low-key, high-key serving breakfast sandwiches for the last couple of months on the weekends but never officially announced anything on our socials—so here we are. The 𝑺𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒂𝒈𝒆, 𝑬𝒈𝒈 & 𝑪𝒉𝒆𝒆𝒔𝒆 features our blended ‘longorizo’ pork patty, inspired by sweet Filipino sausage and spiced Mexican chorizo, spicy tamarind cashew sarsa, melty chihuahua cheese, calamansi aioli, soft egg scramble, pickled jalapeños on our house brioche. The 𝑩𝒂𝒄𝒐𝒏, 𝑬𝒈𝒈 & 𝑪𝒉𝒆𝒆𝒔𝒆 is inspired by Filipino tocino, with thick-cut, coconut husk-smoked pork belly dressed in pineapple-soy glaze, house-made banana ketchup, a sharp cheddar & american cheese blend, calamansi aioli, soft scrambled egg, crispy bacon bits on our house brioche. KORA's made-to-order breakfast sandwiches available on weekends only (for now!), from 9AM-2PM.

Our spring menu features seasonal Rhubarb & White Chocolate using pillowy fried brioche as a base filled with rhubarb vanilla compote and Auro 32% white chocolate chantilly. A gentle balance of tart and light, creamy sweetness. Available at our Sunnyside storefront from Wednesday-Sunday from 9AM.

One year of KORA in Sunnyside. We feel incredibly lucky to be part of this community. Thank you to everyone who came by, celebrated with us, and continues to support what we do. This Sunday, March 29 marks one year since we opened the door to our very first storefront in Sunnyside, Queens. One year of taking a chance. One year of creating community. One year of building our team. One year of open-door hospitality. One year of shared creativity & collaboration. One whole year of living something that was only a dream. As part of our updated spring menu, KORA is now proudly serving matcha from @kettltea featuring Hinata matcha sourced from Yame, Fukuoka. With notes of white sesame, lilac, and fresh greens, it brings a vibrant, creamy nutty character with a clean finish to lattes and a beautiful counterpart to all of our housemade syrups. Additionally, you can find Hinata matcha featured in our spring pastry case. We’ve also intensified our housemade pandan syrup, with a higher ratio of freshly processed pandan leaves for a brighter, more aromatic flavor, which now can be added to any beverage.

We braved the blizzard and came by the shop to get ahead on shoveling, but a few familiar faces stopped by asking if we were open and we figured…we’re already here! The two of us will be hanging out here, opening up our coffee bar and serving up some warm cookies from 12PM-3PM. Happy snow day!
