The halls are quieter now. The rush of footsteps has softened. Another year has come to a close, and our beautiful campus settles into its season of stillness.
ㅤ
In this quiet, we remember the generations who walked these paths before us, the dreams they carried, the lessons they left behind. These walls hold stories. These arches hold prayers and we are reminded of just how sacred this place truly is.

Hands-on, minds-on. Our biological psychology students put theory into practice, using an EEG (electroencephalogram) to measure brain activity in real time. Just another day of learning that goes beyond the textbook at CBU.
Twelve of our CBU students spent their Spring Break in Appalachia trading rest for service alongside the Glenmary Home Missioners in Rutledge, Tennessee. Rooted in our Lasallian and Catholic traditions, the group filled their week with service, prayer, reflection, and simple shared meals. "All students reported having some sort of life-changing experience," said Joel Kelley, Director of Campus Ministry. There's nothing quite like watching the Class of 2026 walk across that stage with years of work, late nights, and faith made visible in one unforgettable moment. We're so proud of who you've become, Bucs, and can't wait to see where you go next. Congratulations again from your CBU family.
This National Police Week, we want to pause and say thank you to the people who keep CBU safe every single day. Pictured here are just a few familiar faces from our Campus Safety and Security team: Lt. John Wright, Officer Kay Liddell, and Administrative Coordinator Leigh Ann Gray. From early-morning patrols to late-night calls, lost keys to lending an ear, you all do far more than any job description could capture. Thank you for showing up for our students, faculty, staff, and visitors with patience, kindness, and care. We're grateful for you.
The cheers. The hugs. The caps in the air. A few days later, and Commencement Saturday still has us smiling. Thank you to the families, friends, faculty, and staff who made it to the celebration our grads deserved. To the Class of 2026, you'll always be a part of who we are.
Meet Dr. Pamela Watson, neuroscientist, geneticist, and the driving force behind CBU's Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience program! Her groundbreaking research dives into the chronic stress unique to Memphis, exploring how social injustice, prejudice, and inequality impact our brains and bodies.

Take a deep breath. You did it. 👏
Today marks the final day of finals, and the closing of yet another chapter filled with late-night study sessions, early morning coffees, and moments where you proved just how capable you really are.
To every CBU student who pushed through: we are so proud of you. The hard work, the perseverance, the showing up even when it felt impossible – none of it went unnoticed.
Now exhale, rest, and celebrate. You've earned every bit of it.
