For the first time in its history, our old Red Barn played happy host to some exceptional Country Music greats, including Sunny Sweeney, The Braun Brothers, Wade Bowen, Shelby Stone and Cody Canada. The sounds were never sweeter, the sun came out and (we hope) the tanks added a little something. What a great event! #liveinthevineyardgoescountry

From dry‑farmed, organically certified Carignane planted in 1942 at the Ricetti Vineyard on the gravelly eastern bench of Redwood Valley, La Grenouille RougantĂ© takes its character from old vines, elevation, and naturally bright acidity. We’ve got a lot of fun harvest photos to share but today as we usher in the Fall equinox we are taking a moment to pause in our September garden and share its lesson of abundance, and of letting go.Vibrant summer crops are giving way to a quieter kind of beauty. The marigolds that fed our soil are pushing their last blooms, amaranth paints the paths with vibrant seed, Apricotta cosmos glow and graceful late summer anemones sway on sturdy stems, gilded in the late afternoon light.What story is being told in your garden, friends? Take a pause to look and share your thoughts below With gratitude for the poetry of Mary Oliver and the one and only Nat King Cole for their assistance teeing up this message of seasonal transition.And now, back to #harvest2025
